Born To Bleed

about

Hungary’s very own smoker-metal band, Red Swamp have ignited the flames once again to bring you their new song Born To Bleed! This six and a half minute monster goes from groove and black metal influenced hammering (think Lamb of God meets Mastodon) to a humongous riff that sends the track into an epic, spiraling outro. Vocals move effortlessly between soaring choruses and pained snarls and growls, while lyrics explore ideas of submission within existence and the inevitability of being led astray by authority. The band has taken a further step toward carving out their own sound, choosing to move away from their stoner roots. By mixing different styles, influences and atmospheres, they paint a dark and dour picture of humanity choosing to turn a blind eye to the consequences of comfort.

lyrics

Entropy has crossed the line into vile
Snapshot of our place in time
Burning out

Born to bleed
Live to die
The tragedy
of our design

Always scheming
Senses overwhelmed
Fight this parasite system
Fated to rebel

Born to bleed
Live to die
The tragedy
of our design

Misplaced our anger
Turning on ourselves
Fuck this parasite system
Leads us straight to hell

Born to bleed
Live to die
The tragedy
of our design
